Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA)

Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA)

A Non-Disclosure Agreement (also known as a ‘privacy agreement’, ’secrecy agreement’, ‘confidentiality agreement’ or simply ‘NDA’) is a contract document in which one or more parties agree not to disclose confidential information they have shared with each other as a necessary part of doing business together.

Although your privacy and the confidentiality of the information you share on the James Taylor-Loftus Editing and Proofreading Services website is protected by me by default, you may wish to have a contractually binding document in place for certain sensitive documents or projects, thereby affording you even greater peace of mind.

My NDA document is sent to you upon purchase as a digital document image. You will receive a secure link to your document (provided to you on my website at the time of purchase, and additionally via an email notification sent to you). The link lasts for 24 hours after your first download (access) and will then expire. For this reason, do not delay in downloading your digital document and saving it securely for future reference. Ensure, too, that you save the order confirmation and digital download emails you receive following purchase!

This NDA is particularly appropriate for the following service provision from me: editing, copy-editing, proofreading, proof-editing, web content writing, and ghostwriting.

Please note -

  1. the purchased NDA agreement applies to only one unique service (document or project) at a time. A new NDA would need to be purchased for any additional future service provision for which you require this enhanced level of protection.

  2. You will be prompted to complete a short form disclosing your contact details when you purchase this product. This is necessary to connect the NDA with a named individual (the purchaser) with a time and date of purchase, and for official record purposes.
